Great price, friendly and accommodating staff. The bar manager made us feel welcome and comfortable. The locals were also friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. Plus, the location in the heart of an English town was a key advantage for exploring the local area.
No en-suite facilities, which might not be suitable for some guests. We also found the food to be below average, and it would benefit from having a professional chef on-site.

It's perfect for exploring the area. the rooms are simple but provide all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. the accommodating bar manager ensures a warm welcome and the locals add to the friendly atmosphere.

Easter weekend getaway was great! Found a hotel that had fantastic food and drinks, plus live music on the weekends. Perfect location for sightseeing, close to all the museums and historical sites. Room was cozy and had all the necessary amenities. Friendly staff made the stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel lacked proper soundproofing, making it hard to sleep at night. the traffic noise outside was unbearable and disrupted our peaceful sleep.
